Extended living space renovation

A three-bedroom ex display home its owners outgrew when twins made them a family of six. We dramatically extended the family’s living space in this renovation with the addition of a 12×7-metre lounge room upstairs, a 12×7-metre rumpus room downstairs with internal staircase to top floor, a new study, a balcony off the upstairs bedrooms and timber decking around the pool. Merbau timber was used on the pool deck, balcony and all internal flooring to marry with the existing house. Walls were re-cladded, and doors replaced as necessary to fully blend old with new.
